Library
General Information
-
What material does the library have?
It has books and periodicals on conservation, archives and recordkeeping. The collection is comparable to any similar collection in Australasia and is more comprehensive than any other in New Zealand. The material ranges from very basic ‘how to’ manuals to high level theory. The core of this collection is material on the management of records and archives at all stages but the scope of the collection is wider as texts are also purchased which cast light on how archives can fit into the broader aspects of humanity and civilisation and how archives are viewed from the perspective of other academic disciplines.
