Archives New Zealand's Wellington Office has three exhibition spaces which are open to the public Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm and Saturday 9am - 1pm.
They are located on the ground floor of Archives New Zealand's Head Office at 10 Mulgrave Street. All exhibitions are free.
There are also changing temporary exhibitions in the foyer gallery and the main gallery on a variety of historical and cultural topics. They feature material from Archives New Zealand's extensive holdings, including documents, photographs, maps, artwork, posters and films.

The Constitution Room has a permanent display of some of New Zealand's most significant historical records, including the Treaty of Waitangi, the 1835 Declaration of Independence of the Northern Chiefs and the 1893 Women's Suffrage Petition.
